Nina Kirk Jewellery Design makes and sells creative high-end jewellery. Products are individually designed by Melbourne-based creator Nina Kirk and are locally crafted in precious metals and stones. NKJD exemplifies classic design and femininity through jewellery that draws on historical influences by placing them in a contemporary context.

Since a young age Nina has had a flair for fashion, art and design. In 2007 Nina graduated from the private art and design school Whitecliffe College, in Auckland, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Fine Art. The majority of her practice during these university years was based in sculpture and installation. Now based in Melbourne, Australia, Nina has realised her passion for jewellery design and has participated in several hands on jewellery courses, including the completion of her Advanced Diploma in Jewellery Design. In the last four years Nina has worked full time in the jewellery industry for a renowned Melbourne-based diamond jewellery manufacturer and retailer.

Nina draws on her fine art and sculptural background to bring concept to the designs, transforming these ideas into wearable pieces. Her concepts reflect both conversations with historic eras as well as her personal interests and aesthetics.
